Colpi ice-cream is freshly made every day in Milngavie to a 100 year old traditional Italian recipe. Our pure, artisan ice-cream is hand-crafted with love and care, using full cream milk from the banks of Loch Lomond.

In a traditional process handed down from father to son since the Italian immigration to Scotland in the 1890βs, pure ingredients are transformed into iced perfection. The simple quality of our natural ingredients is at the heart of that special Colpi taste; above all, fresh whole milk from the banks of Loch Lomond.
Our ice cream has been made on-site at our Milngavie shop ever since Rodolfo Colpi first opened for business back in 1928. Each small batch of finished ice cream is stripped and lifted into its Colpi-blue tubs in the front of the shop right before our customersβ eyes, in a performance that never fails to delight.
